From 2018 - 2020, I worked with Clemson Football's Recruiting team. During my fall 2019 semester, I worked a full-time internship with the team, and the rest of my time had been spent as a part-time worker/student. During my third year with the team, I was named the lead student designer and helped grow our impact on the recruiting process. My main job as a designer was to keep in contact with the recruits on our board and continue to attract talent to the program. When I joined back in 2018, I was the first freshman designer in program history to be added to the team. The program itself has given me insight into the sports marketing world and how a high level program operates. Arguably my greatest accomplishment as a graphic designer for Clemson was the 2020 Recruiting Class. The class was ranked #1 in the country and featured talents such as Bryan Bresee, Myles Murphy, and DJ Uiagalelei. While we were recruiting these kids, we had a switch in power and were left without a graphics director for a 4-5 month period. During that time it was just myself and 5 other student designers making graphics for the 2020 class. Despite the odds, we still managed to attract one of the most talented classes in CFB history. It has been an honor working with a program like Clemson and I thank them for the opportunity to experience what it takes to work with the best of the best.
